This is how I make the shrimp plants. I roll out a small slab, cut out the shape I use for the plant, and then roll it up and refine it. Then I score the surface of the pot and the petals, add clay slip, and compress. Then I do that over and over and

Shrimp Plant Vase. I wanted to finish the rim in an interesting way, so I made one really long shrimp plant to wrap around the edge.
